On October 8th, Mike Isaac from The New York Times reported  on a US Appeals injunction against the TikTok ban.

The federal government on Thursday appealed a judge’s ruling that prevented the Trump administration from imposing a ban on TikTok, the viral video app owned by the Chinese company ByteDance.

Even with Tik Tok's growth they still need to keep an eye on Triller, who according to the Wall Street Journal is preparing for its chance to give TikTok some more competition.  Triller had signed up influencers like Charli D'Amelio over the paste few weeks when there was uncertainty about TikTok's fate.
