The Factors That Influence Google Autocomplete

Danny Sullivan, Google's Public Liaison For Search, published an article on the Google Blog on October 8th, 2020.  It covers "How Google Autocomplete Predictions Are Generated".  

It mentions how they use a number of signals when determining Autocomplete predictions, but a couple things that are commonly used include common and trending queries that match what the user has entered so far.  Other user specific signals include the users language, location, etc.
